
Overview
The syllabus for the Advanced Broadcasting course has been developed and designed to give participants a full and in-depth understanding of the critical areas of Radio Broadcasting. It is an intensive practical course designed to immerse students in programme preparation and broadcast simulations. The Advanced course is intended not only for those who wish to pursue a career in the Media but also for those who wish to merely learn more about broadcasting. The course syllabus is made up of two distinct sections covering the main areas in broadcasting.
Course specifics
Prerequisites / Skills Requirements: Students must have completed RDJ 140 or have a good understanding of broadcasting basics
Equipment Requirements: NONE (all equipment will be provided)
Course duration: 10 classes (120 minutes / twice a week)
Practice Times: Practice times are free – Mon. to Thurs. 10am – 7pm
