1992 - 1993

Started off as a radio presenter at Majestic City Shopping Mall in-house Radio Station (MCR)

Joined as trainee radio presenter at FM99 (Now E FM) Sri Lanka’s first privately owned radio station.

1993 – 1995

First Club gig was at The Little Hut nightclub situated at the Mt. Lavinia Hotel

Then joined Mega Music, an entertainment company owned by Eugene Cooke one of Sri Lanka’s pioneer DJs, which managed several nightclubs in Colombo

Clubs played at during this period included:

• The Colombo 2000 – Galadari Hotel
• Santa Fe
• The Saxophone Jazz Bar
• Valentino’s – Marriot Hotel

During my time with Mega Music I also played for several corporate and private functions including many expatriate community gigs

1995 – 2000

Was a partner at Zone Productions Inc. An entertainment company specializing in event management for private and corporate functions

Was DJ and co-creator of mega rock event ‘Rock Saturday’, a monthly rock music gig drawing crowds of over a 1000 people, the only rock event at the time uniquely featuring only DJ music and credited as one of the influences for making alternative rock popular in Sri Lanka

Also event managed several blue chip corporate functions and played at many of the expatriate community gigs held in Colombo

2000 – 2004

Director, creative planning at Watson MVM an advertising and event management company which organized several notable functions, including one of Colombo’s largest open-air Millennium New Year’s Eve parties.

Was also guest DJ at Cascades Nightclub at the Lanka Oberoi Hotel

2005 – 2008

Resident DJ at Zanziba Lounge (2005-2007) and Sugar Lounge Bar (2007 to date) and also DJ for selected private and corporate functions together with Dj Wendell
