A DJ by choice, DJ Ben is no stranger to the world of entertainment in Colombo. Kick started his professional mixing career in 1993 playing at private parties and then moving in to the Down South and Negombo coastal club circuit. After a few years of just sun, sand and lots of great music DJ Ben Slowly but steadily moved in to the Colombo club culture and became a definite choice in its elite night circle. Having a unique flare and love for Retro and Progressive Dance music he has spanned his talent with residencies, guest spots and gigs both here and overseas.

One of the master minds behind The Offshore Life, DJ Ben is now a key figure for “groovalicious”-Colombo. An event body specializing in Corporate events, Discos and Dance Parties in Sri Lanka. Currently holds residency at Rhythm & Blues- Pub & Disco in Colombo. Although a sudden diversity in between, which he claims was accidental Ben also experienced the world of broadcasting. A morning show host for Lite 89.2, one of the pioneer adult contemporary radio stations in Sri Lanka and also hosted one of Sri Lanka’s pioneer Dance shows on 101.7 TNL Radio.
